About GPYV Discussions at NIAS
Global Politics, Young Voices (GPYV) is a capacity-building exercise, at the National Institute of Advanced Studies (NIAS). It is a flagship initiative within the NIAS Programme on Science, Technology and International Relations (STIR). The programme aims to build a network/dialogue of young scholars working on International Relations, Conflicts and Peace Processes.

NIAS, Kristu Jayanti College and St Joseph's University are jointly holding one session of the GPYV every month to engage students from the respective institutions in the initiative. The GPYV is now expanding to include a Chennai Chapter and a Pondicherry Chapter. The expansion of the platform opens the initiative to students at Loyola College, Chennai and Pondicherry University, Puducherry.

The GPYV Monday Discussions, initiated and led by young scholars, aims to provide a platform for young researchers across multiple institutions in India to present/debate their thoughts amongst their peers. The GPYV discussions, after review, are published on our Course portal - www.globalpolitics.inClick here for the recent discussions in the series.

If you are a young scholar and would like to take part in the GPYV discussions, write to us: globalpolitics@nias.res.in. If you are a faculty and would like to recommend your students, please let them know about our initiatives.

We publish "The World This Week" every Sunday, "Conflict Weekly" every Thursday, Daily Briefs on PakistanChina and Europe, and regular analyses on global politics. Click here to know more about NIAS Global Politics and its activities.
